In one instance, a motorist threw a month-old cat from a moving automobile, causing the animal to sustain injuries. The man who was eventually apprehended flung the small animal out the window of the car without even pausing, as if it were some rubbish.
It was obvious that the subject wanted to get rid of the critter, but it was also obvious that the authorities took action by not only saving the animal but also handcuffing the abuser.
The event happened in San Cristóbal, and word of it spread to the networks via a post on the police department’s Facebook page.
“Federal police officers saved a cat that was flung out of a car this afternoon in San Cristóbal del Sur. The driver was located and punished, according to the reports.
The authorities claim that the detainee’s justification was that “he did not have the conditions to take care of him,” which is the most absurd aspect of the case.
The cat was being tossed out of the side window of a Renault Logan when officers on patrol noticed it. The driver, 39, said that he was not fit to take care of the cat. He will answer for abandoning animals, they continued.
There is no excuse for carrying out this callous deed. Anyone with a modicum of common sense and empathy seeks for another method to put the cat in caring hands. Abandonment will never be an option, especially when it is done in such a criminal manner. However, if you truly lack the resources or circumstances to raise it, you have no choice but to do it.
