Speaking while receiving the award, Modric shared: “Champions League? It would be incredible to win it again. Leipzig are doing very well in their league. But first we have La Liga and the Copa and we have to focus on that.”
“Many injuries? Yes, we have a bad streak. I want to send a lot of encouragement to everyone from here, especially to David Alaba, who fell yesterday. It’s not easy for us, but we’re hanging in there and we’re doing well. Let’s hope to continue like this until the end.”
